Edward John Coy75, of Indianapolis, passed away October 17, 2004. Born January 17, 1929 in McKinney, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Clarence and Elsie Coy. Edward was a Korean War Veteran and received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Edward retired from Rexnard Link-Belt in 1992 after 26 years of service. Edward has left in his passing his wife, Idell Carver Coy; daughter, Darlene Crawford; four grandchildren, four great-grand children; and a niece. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter and step-son. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 21 in Harry Moore Family Mortuaries, 8151 Allisonville Road. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 22 in Floral Park Cemetery.

We extend our sympathies to the family. I regularly check the Indpls obits and looked up Mr Coy in my Caughey book and saw that he was a relative from way back. I was originally from Indpls and my Dad (Marion C.) was born in McKinney also. Good Luck to you all.
